Special Exception Approved

Friends, Neighbors, Jacksonians,

Thank you for your support!  Walt Wofford and I have been approved to use our building for Special Exception.  You have made a difference!  You helped us get this exception, and we won't forget it.  (Insert wink here.)  The meeting with the City of Jackson wasn't too rough because we had your support!  Having the petition in hand to pass out to the members of the review board was incredibly powerful!  Friends, having that petition did wonders to show the City that we have approval from the people of Hinds County.  It's wonderfully encouraging, and we appreciate you.  Special thanks to the property owners who wrote letters of recommendation; we couldn't have done it without you.  Lastly, we extend a tremendous thank you to Matthew McLaughlin of the Belhaven Improvement Associate and Virgi Lindsay of the Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation for their presence at the meeting as a show of support.  Thank you!

So, now what...

Well, we hope you will watch the blog closely because we will now go through the approval with the Historic Preservation Commission to renovate the building.  This blog will be constantly updated with pictures and explanations as we charge through this renovation that you have made possible.  This building will become something beautiful, something entirely new, and we hope you'll watch.  Come by and see our progress... at the NeighborHouse.
